ABOUT

WHY IT EXISTS: The Daily Dose of Doctrine (DDOD) was conceived to help reserve component Soldiers stay cognizant of doctrine and related matters between drills. Subscribers gain and maintain awareness of the latest developments, discussions and releases of doctrine. DDOD helps reserve component Soldiers bridge the gap of daily "water cooler conversation" enjoyed by their active component colleagues. But there is no reason active component Soldiers cannot subscribe and benefit as well. And, it's great source for ROTC cadets who want to start learning about their chosen profession.

HOW IT WORKS: DDOD provides Soldiers a quick (one-to-two-minute) daily read on an aspect of Army doctrine, regulations, or TTPs (tactics, techniques and procedures). Each post contains a basic synopsis of the doctrinal reference, as well as raw doctrine posted directly from the source.

Each week, subscribers receive daily week-day emails plus a link to a Friday Weekly Quiz.  Subscribers can compile their quiz records for submission to document self-development during evaluation periods. Soldiers may want to print and submit our "Information for Rating Chains" page (or if you're a rater or senior rater you can read it yourself) at this link

HOW IT'S DONE: DDOD provides information that comes strictly from unlimited distribution publications. Only publications that do not require CAC cards for access are used as source documents.
